Finishing department at KAY & Emms comprises automatic hydro-extractors for the removal of moisture from dyed fabric, computerized tensionless dryers for instant fabric drying, soft-setting and calendaring machines for systematic soft-setting and rolling of fabric, fully computerized compaction machines for complete shrinkage control, and panel wash machines and tumble dryers for panel washing the fabric to give minimum shrinkage value. 40 tons of fabric can be finished in the Finishing department per day.
Again personal attention ensures that all the fabric leaving the finishing department is properly inspected and thoroughly checked for relevant factors before being forwarded to the next stage of production.
We have an international standard lab with highly qualified staff.
A fully furnished laboratory works in integration with dyeing / finishing untis to help them produce quality fabrics. We use AATCC. BSI / ISO test methods from visual to physical all aspects of the products are tested to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
K & M has stringent check over product quality and equipped with a technologically advanced lab to ensure that compliance of various Standards is met. Main tests being conducted by our QA lab are:

- Water, washing and crocking fastness test
- Grading for appearance
- Perspiration fastness
- Absorbency( Moisture management) test
